The Traveller's Inn is a three-storey residential hotel which is designed to cater a leisurely experience for the guests.

The Traveller's Inn is a three-storey residential hotel which is designed to cater a leisurely experience for the guests.

The overall goal of the design is to bridge the gap between different generations and social classes, aiming to break the notion of exclusicity in most hotels through a more appealing yet affordable design for everyone. The facade of the hotel embodies a straightforward design intended to give more emphasis on its interior design over its extterior, for the purpose of attracting customers from the outside and bringing them to appreciate the beauty inside as well.

Multiple horizontal ledges are mainly situated on the south side for sun shading, mixed with vertical elements to balance out the feeling of grandeur and groundedness.

The hotel's exterior character redefines the common modern typology of residential hotels through projecting diagonal forms on the building's facade which exudes eccentricity and dynamism in design that is highly eye-catching and scenic, perfectly contributing to the local city's urban landscape.

The Urban inn is a two-storey building located within a residential area in Bajada, Davao City. The building's exterior is presented with grey tones accentuated with vertical wood slats and glass curtain walls.

Designing the hotel involves experimental applications using repetition in bespoke facades bringing visual rhythm and uniformity. Since the hotel is located along the main highway, creating a double facade and incorporating planters as well as visual screens filter out noise and dirt.

The visual screens also follor a sawtooth pattern that breaks and accentuates the building from its massive and box-like form.

The choice, composition, and placement of materials emphasizes and complements the building's form. The study of materiality using the unconventional showcases how building materials can add visual interest.

The Lotus Hotel is a three-storey residential and commercial building,located in a one-thousand and two-hundred square-meter lot area along Tulip Drive, Davao City. The louvered facade of the structure supports the modern industrial concept of the design as well as provides shade from the midday sun while allowing natural light and wind to circulate within, at the same time.

It is designed as three zones divided by gardens which not only softens the appearance of the building, but also helps in natural cooling and noise control through vegetation. The grardens also increase the quality of the rooms by adding to the scenic value that guests can enjoy within their rooms. The division also make possible the equal distribution of natural lighting and ventilation.

Babox, a boutique hotel, embodies the basic typology of reusing old shipping containers for functional forms. It is located in a six-hundred square-meter lot that is comprised of ten rentable units, thirty-two hotel rooms, storage rooms, office, dining room, and kitchen

Modularity enables combining two or more shipping containers to produce larger structures. Stacking and grouping shipping containers allow spaces to be properly defined and compartmentalized according to their function.

The development's exterior character involves the application of visual rhythm in design, creating irregularities in order to break the monotony of form.
